01Cookie consent

Argmax currently uses only cookies and browser storage that are necessary to provide a feature you request, keep accounts signed in, protect forms, and remember recent countdown-detection results inside the product.

No analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or embedded third-party media runs on the public website as of 12 September 2026. Because no non-essential technology is set, Argmax does not display a cookie-consent banner. This Policy remains available for transparency.

02Technologies we use

  • Authentication session cookies (names beginning with sb-) keep a signed-in account authenticated. They are HttpOnly, Secure in production, SameSite=Lax, and expire with the authentication session.
  • amx-csrf protects state-changing requests against cross-site request forgery. It is Secure in production, SameSite=Strict, limited to API paths, and expires after four hours.
  • amx-oauth-context preserves the selected sign-in provider and legal-document versions while Google or Twitch authentication is in progress. It is signed, HttpOnly, Secure in production, SameSite=Lax, limited to the authentication path, and expires after ten minutes.
  • argmax:countdown-detections:v1 is local browser storage used only after you use countdown detection. It stores technical detection parameters and results on your device, keeps at most 50 entries, and ignores entries older than 30 days. It does not contain an authentication token or email address.

03Third-party services

Argmax uses Supabase to provide authentication. If you choose “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Twitch,” your browser is redirected to that provider. The provider may use its own cookies on its own domain under its privacy and cookie policies. Argmax does not load those providers as hidden embeds on its pages.

04Your controls

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking authentication or security cookies will prevent sign-in and protected actions from working. Clearing local storage removes saved countdown-detection results but does not delete server-side account data.

05Future changes

If Argmax adds non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies, they must remain disabled until the user makes a valid choice where consent is required. Argmax will update this Policy and provide equally prominent accept and reject controls before deploying them.
